Site work for a civil project in Holland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
**As of January 12, 2026, the project was awarded to Kamminga & Roodvoets, with an awarded amount of $8,486,042.50.** The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing approximately 6,100 feet of 16-inch ductile iron water main, 1,400 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 2,500 feet of 12-inch (outside diameter) DR11 HDPE sanitary force main using open cut installation, 540 feet of 12-inch DR11 HDPE sanitary force main using slip line installation, 700 feet of 12-inch DR11 HDPE sanitary force main using horizontal directional drill, 220 feet of bore and jack with 30-inch casing under I-196 BL, abandonment of approximately 15,000 feet of water main and force main, installation of about 4,800 tons of HMA pavement for driveways, pathways, roads, and parking lots, 910 feet of concrete curb removal and replacement, maintenance of traffic, sanitary sewer flow bypass pumping and pump and haul operations, retrofit of Pump Station No. 20, water main crossing under Noordeloos Creek, tree and brush removal, incidental cross culvert and storm sewer replacement, and turf and landscaping restoration. All necessary appurtenances and restoration are included. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Holland Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent of the total bid price.
