**As of January 16th, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the demolition of the existing grease interceptor located at MIA Gate D15 and replacement with a new hydromechanical grease interceptor, solids separator, and sampling port, along with associated electrical and plumbing work and pavement restoration. Obtain and submit all required permits prior to performing any work. All work shall be performed in accordance with the scopes of work established by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and all applicable laws, codes, and regulations. Any minor variation in the scope necessary to complete the intended work shall be considered incidental and will not warrant additional compensation. Any major variation will be compensated through a contingency allowance account, dedicated allowance account, or change order. Contractors must use qualified workers, own or have access to necessary equipment, and meet all safety, insurance, and technical requirements. Bidders must submit: a lump sum bid on the provided Bid Form, a bid guarantee (bond, certified or cashier's check), completed affirmation of vendor affidavits, and any applicable addenda. Failure to submit the Bid Form with all required and correctly completed documents renders a bid non-responsive. Bidders are responsible for confirming all quantities and must include all costs associated with permitting, shop drawings, inspections, as-builts, close-out documentation, and required engineering certificates in their bid. Contingency allowance and dedicated allowance accounts are provided for unforeseen conditions and changes. Question Deadline 12/31/2025 All requests for information (RFIs) shall comply with the Cone of Silence, Administrative Order 3 27 and shall be directed in writing to the MDAD project manager with a copy to the Clerk of the Board (clerkbcc@miamidade.gov).
