Site work for a water / sewer project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the rehabilitation of approximately 750 manholes anywhere within the limits of Miami-Dade County, as ordered by the Department during a one-year period. The work of the manhole rehabilitation shall include, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing concrete protective coating; high-pressure cleaning; pre-resurfacing and pre- and post-video inspection for all rehabilitated manholes; surface preparation; sealing leaks with chemical injection grout by drilling through the manhole; concrete repair and restoration; restoring manhole to the original shape or as otherwise approved by the Engineer; grouting voids; cleaning and restoring exposed reinforcing; applying cement underlayment; restoring manhole bench and flow channels; removing broken steps and repairing holes in manholes with broken steps; rehabilitating underside of flat-top manholes; replacing misaligned, broken or missing frame seals; furnishing and installing plugs, through plugs and through pipe as required; bypass pumping of sewage, if necessary; traffic control; providing debris traps; legal disposal of debris; furnishing and utilizing all required safety equipment; and all other miscellaneous and appurtenant work for a complete manhole rehabilitation. The Department may reduce quantities, delete elements of work, or reject bids if amounts bid exceed expected levels. The contract is non-exclusive- the actual number of work orders depends solely on the Department's needs, and the combined total for all work authorized will not exceed the contract award amount. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 The RFI cut-off date Training on electronic bid submission is available and invitations to bid may be sent to multiple addresses within the same company, but multiple bids from one company will be rejected. All construction services under this contract are subject to a 2% User Access Program (UAP) fee. The contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work. Required documents for the bid package include Appendix 5A, Quotation Forms Pages, Addendums, and Bid Bond if the bid meets or exceeds $200,000. Performance and Payment Bond and additional insurance will be required once a bid is awarded and meets or exceeds $200,000. The contractor must also comply with all insurance requirements and verification of employment eligibility via E-Verify for themselves and all subcontractors.
