Renovation of an industrial development in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade industrial development.

Scope of Work shall include, but not be limited to: Provide all labor, equipment and materials to completely and properly demolish former restrooms including plumbing lines and plumbing fixtures as well as remove certain walls to allow the restrooms' area to be combined to the existing storage area; provide partitions to close restroom-side of partition walls with wall finish to seal wall; provide some changes to existing fire alarm, fire sprinkler, mechanical and electrical to accommodate the above changes including: 1. Remove existing toilets, urinals & sinks for male & female restrooms. 2. Remove existing interior mosaic tile wall finish from restrooms. 3. Remove certain existing partitions as noted on plans. 4. Remove existing plumbing rough in and electrical located in partitions (above top of first floor slab). 5. Cap existing plumbing flush with top of first floor slab. 6. Provide new drywall on new partitions infill as noted on plans. Contractor shall review all documents and scope of work provided by Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) for work to be completed. Please refer to the Plans & Specs for further description of the scope of work. Contractors must hold a valid license required to perform work in the specified trade. Contractors must have a minimum of 5 years' experience performing work in their specific trade. Contractors must be able to demonstrate that their firm or key employees have experience performing the respective trade for at least one year, proven via documentation submitted as part of the bid package. Contractors must have a minimum average total score of 3.0 in their Contractor Performance Evaluations in ISD's Capital Improvements Information System (CIIS), or provide equivalent satisfactory performance documentation. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting conference call and site visit is required. Bids for this project must reflect a lump sum amount, which shall be indicated on the bid form. All quantities provided with the bid documents are estimates; it is the bidder's responsibility to confirm them. The lump sum bid amount must be inclusive of all costs to complete the work scope. Bidders are responsible for all costs related to permitting, preparation of shop drawings, special inspections, as-built drawings, close-out documentation, and any required engineering certificates.
