Renovation of a transportation facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) is seeking qualified contractors to perform critical on-call services and emergency/priority maintenance work at MDADs facilities through a work order-based program. Selected contractors must provide emergency/priority response within two hours of MDADs request, and be available 24/7 with the necessary equipment, materials, and labor. The contract includes both landside and airside mobilization, with specific security and insurance requirements for personnel and operations. Contractors must hold appropriate licenses, have a minimum of five years experience, maintain an approved safety program, and comply with project sustainability standards. Work orders will be issued as needed, with payment based on unit prices bid, and contractors must be able to submit detailed proposals and cost breakdowns within established deadlines. All bids must include unit prices for each labor classification and other pay items, and complete bid forms must be submitted to be considered responsive. MDAD will reimburse only certain actual security and permit-related costs, and contractors are required to comply with all MDAD security, insurance, and labor documentation requirements.
