The Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) seeks qualified contractors to perform critical on-call services and emergency/priority maintenance work at MDAD’s facilities under a work order-based program. The program is established for 18 months, with up to four contractors selected for the Building Contractor trade, each contract not to exceed $200,000. No payment and performance bond is required. All work is authorized via Work Orders, and MDAD does not guarantee full contract value will be awarded. Contractors must comply with all MDAD security requirements and respond to emergency calls within two hours, 24/7. Work may be landside or airside, and relevant security badges are required. Costs for badging, vehicle registration, and special training are reimbursable, while other costs are considered incidental. Contractors must provide proof of experience, possess the required trade licenses, maintain a safety program, attend mandatory pre-bid conference calls, and submit all required forms and certified payroll electronically. Permits and fees are reimbursable. Contractors must submit detailed proposals with cost breakdowns following site visits as requested by MDAD. All labor classifications and pay items in the bid must have a value greater than zero. Failure to comply with bid form requirements may result in non-responsiveness. Work must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
