Site work for a water / sewer project in Gallatin, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
CONTRACT 425 consists of the installation of approximately 7,000 linear feet of 20, 16, 12, 8, and 6 inch PVC and ductile iron water main and 14 check valve installations as detailed in the project plans. The work includes all tie-ins, service replacement and reconnections, asphalt replacement and repairs, and all necessary appurtenances to provide a complete project. The construction period is 300 calendar days. Bidders must obtain bid documents from the office of James C. Hailey & Company upon a non-refundable payment. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for five percent of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond in the full amount of the bid and be licensed as a contractor. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt. The owner reserves the right to waive informality or reject any or all bids. Non-discrimination and encouragement for small, minority, and women's business enterprise participation apply.
