Section 3 businesses and/or businesses that employ Section 3 residents are strongly encouraged to respond. A. Returned bids must contain this Work Write-Up/Submittal sheet and itemized costs reflected on Work Write-Up. B. All work shall conform to the Community Development Division Department Housing Rehabilitation Program. C. As required by applicable codes, bids shall include cost of locating, exposing, and relocating of water, sewer, or gas lines when scope of work included foundations for room additions or detached (garage) structures. D. Work Write-Up Specifications govern over plans, sketches, Pest Control Report, Lead-Based Paint Report, or any oral agreement. E. Validated bids must be within the window of 15% of the engineering estimate. An engineer's estimate is NOT released for this project. The project is NOT subject to prevailing wage. Bidders are required to hold a valid General Contractor's Class "B" License. Notice to Contractors - Insurance Requirement for PINS Approval All General Contractors seeking to participate in the City of Modesto Housing Rehabilitation Program must maintain current insurance coverage as required by the City. Proof of insurance is a prerequisite for PINS (Public Improvement Notification System) approval and must be submitted prior to contract award.
