Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Modesto, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The restroom replacement project will include some site improvements at the park site and preliminary concept layouts (attached) have been included as a starting point for the design. The use of a pre-manufactured restroom building from The Public Restroom Company is required in the design. The scope of work services is for the preparation of Construction Documentation for demolition of an existing restroom building and replacement with a pre-manufactured restroom building at Whitmore Neighborhood Park. The Construction Documentation will be comprehensive and may include, but not be limited to, the following items: o Demolition Plan, including tree protection requirements. o Site preparation and pre-manufactured restroom building pad design. o Concrete paving surrounding the new restroom buildings. o Layout Plan including design layout of restroom building purchased from The Public Restroom Company. o Landscape and irrigation adjustments as necessary to accommodate the new restroom buildings, paving, and turf. o Utility and Electrical service design to accommodate the new restroom building, electrical panels, irrigation controller, and a drinking fountain. The City is seeking one combined digital PDF proposal as a single package from professional design firms that demonstrate experience in restroom replacements, and landscape improvements with similar magnitude and scope to the described project components. Public outreach is not required. The City requires that the firm's Principal file a Statement of Economic Interest Form 700 with the City to the satisfaction of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) when the firm provides information, advice, recommendations or counsel to the City. Before the City enters into an agreement for services with the selected firm, the Principal will be required to report individual economic interests within the City of Modesto on the following: Real Property Interest (geographically limited) Sources of Income Business Positions Business Investments The selected firm is also required to submit a completed and signed Financial Interest Disclosure Form and will have a City of Modesto business license. Make the selection based on its sole discretion; Accept or reject any and all Proposals / Statements of Qualifications, or any item or part thereof, or to waive any informalities or irregularities; Withdraw this Request for Proposals / Request for Qualifications (RFP / RFQ) at any time without prior notice, and the City makes no representations that any agreement will be approved with any firm responding to this Request for Proposals / Request for Qualifications (RFP / RFQ); Issue subsequent Request for Proposals / Request for Qualifications (RFP / RFQ); Postpone Proposals / Statements of Qualifications opening for its own convenience; Approve or disapprove the use of particular subconsultant; Negotiate with any, all, or none of the firms submitting a Proposals / Statements of Qualifications; Enter into an agreement with another firm in the event the originally selected Proposer defaults or fails to execute an agreement with the City.
