The work consists of supplying Hydrofluorosilicic Acid for a water treatment plant. The chemical must comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act and relevant federal regulations for potable water. All provisions of ANSI/AWWA B703-19 standards apply as minimum requirements, and the chemical must be certified suitable for drinking water treatment according to NSF/ANSI Standard 60. Product specifications require 23-25% H2SiF6 by weight and deliveries must be made in totes or drums, clearly labeled, between 7 AM and 3 PM, Monday to Friday. Each order will range from 600 to 700 gallons as needed, and deliveries must include a Certificate of Analysis with specific details. The receiving tank's inlet is at a 20-foot elevation. Any surcharges must be disclosed on the bid sheet. The accepted bid will be effective from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional year if agreed by both parties. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder’s name and address and marked appropriately for the treatment chemical. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the most favorable one.
