Wages: Under requirements of Rhode Island General Law 37-13, this project is a prevailing wage project and requires a 5% Bid Bond. Performance, Labor and Materials Bonds: A one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Materials Payment Bond will be required from the successful General Contract Bidder at time of Award. MBE/WBE Participation: This project/contract is subject to the requirements of R.I.G.L. 37-14.1-6. The Contractor shall use best efforts to award minority and women owned business enterprises twenty-five percent (25%) of the dollar value of the entire project. Provided, however, that minority and women owned business enterprises shall be awarded a minimum of fifteen percent (15%) of the dollar value of the entire project.
