Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Dallas, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Minor renovations of an existing Classroom building to provide new power and data drops from one space to another, and conduit infrastructure feeds from the existing building to a new building pad adjacent the existing building. Site improvements include a new parking lot in a currently wooded area, graded site and building pad, underground conduit infrastructure, dry hydrant stub installation, and ditch repair with new stormwater piping section. Coordination of overhead utility connections with City of Gastonia Electric. The Electrical subcontractor shall also assume terminating electrical feeds of vendor provided and erected modular building . Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute the contract in accordance with the bid bond. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work.
