Sealed bids are invited for cleaning services for the Pine Island Fire District. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled as 'Cleaning Bid for the Pine Island Fire District' and addressed appropriately. Certificates of insurance, in a form acceptable to the fire district attorney, are required. If workers are hired, the successful bidder must comply with New York State Labor Law, including prevailing wage rates, and provide indemnification and hold harmless. All bids must comply with the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and other applicable statutes, and include a statement of non-collusion. The lowest qualified bidder meeting the specifications will be awarded the bid. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if necessary.
