The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), through its Construction and Development Company (MTA C&D), seeks to engage a General Engineering Consultant to provide design services for the rehabilitation and expansion of the Livonia Maintenance Facility. The scope of services includes designing the rehabilitation of the existing facility while reusing its structure, converting the existing footprint from a four-track layout to an improved three-track layout, removing the existing administration block, and replacing it with a new administration block with an adjoining addition containing a new track with a ceiling clearance to accommodate an overhead crane over a fourth track. The facility is not expected to be a run-through facility. Participation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) and the MTA Vendor Portal. The project includes specific subcontracting goals for minority-owned, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses.
