Sealed bids are requested for a Powerline Pre-Engineered Metal Building at the Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center, located at 240 Arona Road, New Stanton, PA 15672. Bids may be mailed to the Center and must be received before the scheduled bid opening. Each bid must include security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the Central Westmoreland County Career & Technical Institute, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Bidders must also ensure non-discrimination in employment and hiring practices based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. All bids are to remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, and disregard non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. Emails and fax transmissions will not be accepted. Contract Documents must be purchased from Sleighter Design for a specified fee, which is non-refundable. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project location, which is not mandatory but highly recommended. This Contract is to supply and deliver to the site, a pre-engineered metal building as indicated by the plans and specifications. The contract does not include any foundation construction or building erection work.
