Sealed bids are solicited electronically via Central Bidding for the furnishing of work for the Terrebonne High School Renovation at 7318 W Main Street, Houma, LA. The project, identified as VRA Project #22100, must be completed within 730 calendar days from the written Notice to Proceed, subject to milestone phase completion deadlines as identified in the Project Manual or approved Change Orders. If the work is not completed or approved by the State Fire Marshal's Office for occupancy by the required dates, stipulated damages will be retained from payments due to the Contractor. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory on-site pre-bid conference. Proposals must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form as furnished in the Contract Documents, and evidence of authority to submit the bid must be provided. Bid packages must include bid security equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Amount in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond with power of attorney, the completed bid form, and necessary corporate resolution or written evidence for signature authority. Only licensed building contractors may bid. Proposal prices must exclude all taxes and include shipping/transportation charges if applicable. All instructions in the Contract Documents and Instructions to Bidders must be strictly followed, or the bid will be considered non-responsive. The Terrebonne Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. No bid may be withdrawn for at least forty-five days after the receipt of bids, except as provided by law.
