Site work for a water / sewer project in Glendale, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Questions are due in writing to Kyler Nielsen, Project Engineer, at kyler.n@jonesanddemille.com on or before Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, at 5:00 pm local time. The Project includes the following Work: drilling a replacement well, development, abandoning the existing well, and related work. Bids will be received for single contract. The well will be located N1215 W239 E4 36 39S 7W SL in Kane County, Utah. The well will be drilled as a replacement well water right 81-1605. Drilling will not commence until a Start Card has been issued by Water Rights The Project has an expected duration of 60 days.''This document will serve as the Drilling Specifications Governing the Drilling of the Glendale Town Hops Well Replacement Well. It will be an 8-inch well constructed with 160 feet of screen within 150 feet of the existing well. The old well is failing due to galvanic corrosion so this well will include a di-electric coupler to eliminate contact between the stainless steel screen and steel casing to isolate the two metals and prevent electrical connection. The well will encounter the same geologic formations as the old well and will very likely mirror the old well's construction. However, as with drilling any water well, it is impossible to design the well prior to the drilling of the borehole. There are many factors that will go into the design of the well for optimum efficiency, flow, screening of producing zones, and protection of the selected aquifer. Details may change based on the selected driller's tooling and geology, borehole conditions, hydrology, and producing zones which cannot be predicted prior to drilling the borehole and the well design may change based on new information obtained during drilling. This document will be used as a guideline for the Utah Division of Drinking Water (DDW) for drilling, construction, development, and pump testing of the well. The final parameters may change regarding borehole diameter, depth drilled, casing diameter, locations of perforations, location of gravel pack and sanitary seal.
