The purpose of this Bid is to provide the Sweetwater Union High School District with a source for furnishing, installing and connecting wireless access points (Wi-Fi WAP Network) to form a complete, coordinated system ready for operation. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 at 12:00 PM PT Any questions relative to the RFP shall be in writing and directed to the Districts Purchasing Department via bids@sweetwaterschools.org. These requests shall be submitted to the District at least ten (10) working days prior to the date the proposal is due Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or box to the District Purchasing Department located at 1130 Fifth Avenue, Chula Vista, California 91911. Proposal packages should be labeled "Response to RFP #26-2979-DP E-RATE WIRELESS EQUIPMENT and INSTALLATION at VARIOUS SCHOOL SITES. The District intends to obtain maximum funding discounts under the Federal Communications Commission's E-Rate program for eligible services and equipment procured as a result of this Request for Proposal ("RFP"). Qualified vendors must provide their Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) with the proposal. Vendors must be willing to work within the requirements of the E-Rate program and must be able to provide all necessary documentation and apply billing per the terms of the E-Rate program. Each proposer shall be the highest level partner with the equipment manufacturer proposed and have certified staff with manufacture's certifications pertaining to the technologies requested. (As an example a Cisco Gold Partner and Cisco Certified personnel.) The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal. Contracts, if awarded, shall be awarded based on the criteria outlined in the RFP. No proposer may withdraw their proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the submission of proposals The purpose of this Bid is to provide the Sweetwater Union High School District with a source for furnishing, installing and connecting wireless access points (Wi-Fi WAP Network) to form a complete, coordinated system ready for operation. The District does not guarantee any amount of work to be procured under this scope which may be decreased and/or increased at the sole discretion of the District. SCOPE: AT MINIMUM, THE PROJECT WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Provide wireless equipment with configuration and installation. The equipment should provide the following latest wireless standards, for 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax, 802.11ax (extended) and 802.11be. 2. Requested network electronics equipment (wireless access points) shall be included in bid with installation of equipment in District designated locations within the school campuses. The contractor shall cooperate with the District and their representative to ensure the timely coordinated configuration and installation of wireless equipment. All wireless equipment (WAPs) have to fully integrate and be fully compatible with the Districts current security and management systems, such as Cisco Integrated Services Engine (ISE) Cisco WLC's and Cisco DNAC/Catalyst Center. Present wireless controller used by the District is an HA pair of Cisco Model 9800 WLC's. Vendor shall certify that it is a Manufacturer Authorized Channel Partner as of the date of the submission of their offer, and that it has the certification/specialization level required by Manufacturer to support both the product sale and product pricing, in accordance with the applicable Manufacturer certification/specialization requirements. Unless otherwise specified, Vendor shall warrant that the products are new, in their original box. The Vendor confirms to have sourced all Manufacturer products submitted in this offer from Manufacturer or through Authorized Channels only, in accordance with all applicable laws and policies at the time of purchase. Smartnet is not required for the Bid. The Wireless Access Points will be covered under Cisco's limited lifetime warranty that provides full warranty coverage of the hardware for as long as the original end user continues to own or use the product. Unless otherwise specified, Cisco is the preferred manufacturer for all listed parts. Equivalent may be proposed for consideration. Specific items and sites are listed on the Proposed Quotation Sheet. Any changes or modifications to the Items or Proposed Sites on the Proposal Quotation Sheet are to be approved and accepted by the District prior to any work being performed. Proposers are advised that the scope of work may be added to or reduced depending upon E-Rate funding and District budgets.
