CONTRACTOR LICENSE: In order to bid on the Work, a contractor must have a CSLB-issued contractor license with the following classification(s): C-7 - Low Voltage Systems Contractor. REQUIRED BID SECURITY: Each bid must be submitted with bid security as described in the Instructions for Bidders. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: All questions related to this Bid are to be submitted in writing to Malia Hall, Lead Buyer, at Malia.Hall@cvesd.org with the Subject Line Bid 25/26-6 Questions, by eleven o'clock (11:00) a.m. PST on October 13, 2025. : Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR"). No bid will be accepted, nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the DIR to perform public work. If awarded a contract, the bidder, and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the DIR for the duration of the project. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. As described in the General Provisions, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Price. The District reserves the right to reject any, or all Bids, to accept or reject any one or more items, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the Bid or in the Bid process. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid for ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of Bids.
