Qualified prospective proposers may obtain copies of the bid specifications at Proposals received later than the specified time and date will be returned unopened. Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable hard copy bid bond payable without recourse to the City of Denton, Texas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal submitted as a guarantee that the proposer will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond, a payment bond, and insurance certificate within ten (10) days after the notification of the award. PROJECT BUDGET The current budget for the project is approximately $2 million dollars ($2,000,000), including without limitation, construction services, design services, soft costs, and right of ways required to deliver the projects per the Contract Documents. In accordance with the provisions of Texas State Law, the City of Denton (the City) is requesting submissions to contract with an individual or business with considerable experience in providing goods or services of this solicitation. The responses and the cost solutions shall be submitted to the City of Denton in a sealed submission.
