Renovation of a multi-residential development in Nowata, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
Question Deadline 11/25/2025 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from interested parties for the rehabilitation of one home located in Nowata County. Work will be completed according to the work write-up and must be finished within 17 working days. Work should commence within two weeks of notification or $100.00 will be charged as liquidated damages for each working day of extension past the contract end date. To be considered, the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up must be fully completed. TERO certification through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office is required to receive preference and proof must accompany submittals. The successful bidder will be required to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO requirements. Bids may be submitted by Indian and Non-Indian bidders, but preference is given to those with current TERO certification. This project is subject to Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. The successful bidder must complete the TERO Labor Agreement and pay all applicable fees, including a percentage of the contract award and a daily fee for non-Indian employees working on the project.
