Renovation of a mixed-use development in Metamora, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library; and one-story above grade educational facility.

Sealed bids for multiple bid packages in the interior renovation project consisting of renovating the existing Library as well as adjacent offices and turning them into two classrooms within Metamora Township High School will be received. The bid packages included are: General Trades, Concrete, Masonry, Doors, Frames, & Hardware, Aluminum Windows, Doors, & Storefront, Painting, Flooring, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical. All bids must be accompanied with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a cashier's check, made payable to Metamora Township High School in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within ten (10) days, provide a Performance and Payment Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the District, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract. Each bidder expressly agrees that such bid may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening thereof. Withdrawal within such period shall subject the bidder to forfeiture of Bid Bond, as well as penalties and damages to the District. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors, or irregularity in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after examination and canvassing. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications.
