Renovation of a military facility in Red Rock, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

1. Project Location: Red Rock Modular Renovation in Red Rock, New Mexico. 2. Renovation: CPMD met with the Red Rock Chapter to plan, draft a Scope of Work, and identify necessary equipment for this project. 3. Scope of Services Requested: Modular Renovation 4. Field-verify all equipment prior to ordering and installation. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete interior and exterior renovations of an existing modular building. The work includes the installation of a new ADAcompliant unisex restroom, new interior and exterior lighting, new exit signs with emergency lights, new floor tiles, new interior paint, replacement of all exterior doors, and one ADAcompliant main entrance door installation. Question Deadline 12/01/2025 at 5:00 PM MT All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager All proposals over $ 50,000.00 shall require a 10 percent bid guarantee at the submittal of proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in any proposals. The Navajo Nation Division of Community Development(DCD), Capital Projects Management Department (CPMD) on behalf of the Red Rock Chapter in Red Rock, New Mexico, invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the renovation of the Chapter Administration Modular. This Request for Proposal (RFP) accounts for a preliminary evaluation of the offeror(s) qualifications, proposed scope of work, site knowledge, and project timeline. The Navajo Nation reserves the right not to award a contract under this RFP and may issue a new RFP for the same services at its discretion. BASE BID A. RENOVATION 1. ADA-COMPLIANT UNISEX RESTROOM a. Construct new restroom walls with one plumbing wall using wood studs thick enough for plumbing equipment with moisture-resistant gypsum board. b. Provide and install new vinyl floor tiles with vinyl base molding. c. Paint walls and ceiling with moisture resistant paint. d. Provide and install one ADA-compliant toilet with rear and side grab bars. e. Provide and install one ADA-compliant lavatory with knee clearance and leverhandle faucet. f. Provide and install a 10 gallon electric water heater. g. Provide and install a new wall mounted heater. h. Provide exhaust fan vented to the exterior. i. Provide and install new GFCI outlets. j. Provide and install required restroom accessories (mirror, soap dispenser, paper towel dispenser, toilet paper holder, disposal unit). k. Ensure all fixtures, hardware, and door clearances meet ADA accessibility requirements (including 5' turning radius). l. Connect new plumbing to existing water and sewer service. m. Provide and install new LED light fixture. n. Provide and install emergency light fixture. o. Provide a lever type door handle for the restroom door. ALTERNATE BID A. RENOVATION 1. INTERIOR LIGHTING a. Remove existing light fixtures. b. Furnish and install new LED ceiling light fixtures throughout the building. 2. EXTERIOR LIGHTING a. Remove existing light fixtures. b. Furnish and install new LED exterior wall-mounted light fixtures. 3. EXIT AND EMERGENCY LIGHTING a. Provide and install new combination exit and emergency lights above each door. 4. ELECTRICAL POWER a. Extend or modify electrical panel and wiring as required for new loads. 5. DOORS AND HARDWARE a. Remove and dispose of the existing doors and frames. b. Furnish and install new exterior metal doors with frames, weather stripping, thresholds, and hardware. c. Furnish and install one new ADA-compliant main entrance door, include panic bar lever handle, closer, and threshold meeting ADA accessibility standards. 6. INTERIOR FINISHES a. FLOORING o Remove and dispose of existing flooring as needed. o Furnish and install new floor tile throughout occupied spaces. o Provide and install new vinyl base around perimeter walls. b. PAINTING o Prepare all interior walls, doors, and trim surfaces for new paint. o Apply one coat of primer and two coats of interior paint (colors selected by Owner). FINISH AND CLEANUP 1. Touch up any scratches or damaged surfaces. 2. Test all plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems for proper operation. 3. Remove and dispose of all construction debris. 4. Provide all warranties and maintenance instructions. 5. Conduct a final walkthrough with the owner and address any deficiencies before project close out.
