The City of Temple, GA is seeking proposals to clean, prepare, and resurface a 71,400 square foot parking lot; repair and patch failing areas with a minimum of 3 inches of 12.5 mm asphalt, tack coat the entire surface, and resurface with a minimum of 2 inches compacted 12.5 mm Super Pave at the shared Recreation and Senior Center's main parking lot located at 240 Rome Street and 280 Rome Street, Temple, Georgia. There are currently 128 parking spots and 8 handicap/Veteran spots. The scope includes cleaning and sweeping the parking lot, removing and patching failing asphalt, resealing the lot with asphalt emulsion/blacktop sealant, documenting and restoring existing striping, converting and marking designated handicap and veteran spaces, paving all areas to drain to curb and gutter, and providing a complete cost for the turn-key project. Proposals must include details of the construction team, project timeline, references, qualifications of the firm and team members, and evidence of being bonded for at least $25,000. All work must meet or exceed federal, state, and local requirements. Any discounts available must be noted in the bid figures and not as separate pricing. Proposers must provide one original and one copy of the proposal in clearly marked envelopes to the designated address. Proposals received after the stated deadline will not be considered.
