Site work, paving and new construction of a day care center in City of Spokane Valley, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade day care center.
Garco Construction, Inc. (General Contractor/Construction Manager) is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the Valley Early Learning Center project for specific bid packages, including masonry, electrical, dryside HVAC/controls, plumbing/wetside HVAC, fire protection, GWB/insulation/AWB, acoustical products & ceilings, fiber cement siding/plywood soffits, roofing/nailbase, storefront, painting/water repellants, site concrete, asphalt paving, landscaping, casework/architectural woodwork, and tile/flooring. Bids are to be submitted on the provided Bid Proposal form, and a Bid Bond is required for any bid $300,000 or above. Sealed bid proposals must be submitted before the stated times at the office of Garco Construction, Inc. Late, faxed, emailed, or phoned proposals will be considered non-responsive. Bids will be publicly opened at Garco Construction’s Office with Valley School District representatives present. The owner and contractor reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. Contract documents can be reviewed at designated locations and online platforms starting from a specified date. Bidders can obtain documents for a deposit, refundable to unsuccessful bidders upon return of documents. Garco Construction encourages bids from disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses.
