The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to obtain capabilities from experienced vendors interested in providing design development and space planning specification of furniture, fixtures and equipment. HISD reserves the right to cancel this solicitation in whole or in part by issuance of a revised or amended Request for Proposals. HISD reserves the right to reject any and/or all responses, to award contracts for individual products or services as may appear advantageous, and to negotiate separately in any manner necessary to serve the best interests of the School District. Design and space planning for furniture, fixtures and equipment layout for construction of a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Building, new Sports Complex and a new construction of an Ag Barn (FFA) Building for Bond Project Project Location: Career and Technical Education (CTE) Building: approximately 21,000 square feet Sports Complex Center: approximately 5,000 square feet Ag Barn Building (FFA): approximately 3,525 square feet Hidalgo ISD is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for comprehensive design and furnishing layout services, including the selection and placement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for a new construction bond project. The project encompasses three facilities: Career and Technical Education (CTE) Building Agricultural (Ag) Barn Building Sports Complex Center The awarded vendor will be responsible for providing expert assistance in classroom instructional design, space planning, and the development of FF&E layouts across all three buildings. This partnership aims to optimize functionality, safety, and educational effectiveness, aligning with the district's vision for state-of-the-art facilities. The initial term of the Agreement is for a period of one (1) year, with HISD having the option to renew the Agreement for one (1) additional year increment. Consequently, the total term of the Agreement may be for a period of two (2) years. The phrase "Term" in this Agreement shall mean the then-current Term of the Agreement, whether the initial term or a renewal term.
