Reference Number 0000404626 2026 STREET TREE PLANTING PROGRAM Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, as security for the acceptance of the contract. A Bid Bond in the Michigan standard form issued by an approved surety company may be furnished in lieu of a certified check. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. All work must be completed by September 30th, 2026, unless extended by the City. The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals in whole or in part and waive any irregularities therein. Acceptance of any proposal does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
