Renovation of a library in Savannah, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library.

Bids will be received for work that includes selective demolition (minor), flashing, siding, windows, retrofit metal roof, brick restoration, and gutters and downspouts. Bidders may submit bids in accordance with the instructions set forth. Each general and sub-contractor must obtain contract documents by providing a deposit, which is refundable under certain conditions. A copy of the Affidavit and Certified Application for The Tennessee Drug Free Workplace Program must be submitted in a separate envelope with the bid to be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government bonds, or a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid. All bidders must be properly licensed under applicable laws and be able to obtain insurance and necessary bonds. A performance bond, labor and material payment bond, and insurance in acceptable forms will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders must comply with the General Licensing Act of 1976, T.C.A. 62-6-119 of 1994, and specific licensing requirements for masonry work. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities. Questions from bidders must be directed to the Engineer or Owner as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for preparation and distribution of addenda.
