Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Trussville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed proposals from qualified general contractors will be received for the Track Replacement for Hewitt-Trussville High School. Bids must be submitted in duplicate and accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond payable to Trussville City Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent of the proposal, not exceeding $10,000. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance as required in bid documents will be required upon contract signing. Contractors must provide evidence of proper licensing for the project classification prior to issuance of plans and specifications. Plans and specifications may be viewed online, and general contractor bidders may obtain digital copies from the architect upon application. Only bidders on the official bidders list may submit bids. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the architect, and the current general contractor's license number must be displayed on the sealed envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in the owner's best interests.
