Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Menominee, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Labor bids are being accepted for a Roof Replacement Project. Work includes complete removal of existing single ply and coal tar pitch built-up roof systems, asbestos abatement, new insulation and roof system, and new steel framing with new metal wall cladding. Qualified contractors must be certified to perform asbestos abatement and Tremco roofing systems. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Lump sum bid proposals with a 100% performance bond and 5% bond security are required. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid due date. The school district reserves the right to reject all proposals not deemed in its best interest.
