Site work and renovation of a military facility in San Antonio, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a military facility; and for the renovation of a military facility.

Constructs a large Military Working Dog (MWD) kennel complex consisting of three kennel facilities providing a total of 400 dog runs and one Kennel Support Facility. Each kennel facility includes private indoor and outdoor runs built to Air Force MWD facility standards, with interior and exterior access corridors. Support spaces include a latrine, tack room, grooming and screening room, food preparation areas, and storage rooms. A covered artificial turf exercise area runs the full length of each building and can be subdivided with fencing and gates to separate individual or multiple dogs. Buildings are single-story with load-bearing reinforced CMU exterior walls, brick veneer on kennel wing ends and central areas, standing seam metal roofing with a minimum 3:12 slope, insulated galvanized steel roof decks, open-web steel joists spanning exterior walls without interior columns, reinforced concrete ribbed mat foundations, reinforced concrete beams beneath walls, painted CMU interiors, and sealed concrete flooring. The Kennel Support Facility is a single-story administrative building containing private offices, open work areas, training rooms and classrooms, trainer locker rooms, storage areas, and other functional spaces finalized in coordination with the end user during design. Work includes all site preparation, utilities, pavements, stormwater management, site improvements, landscaping, fire protection and suppression, communications systems, mass notification, and all supporting features necessary for complete and usable facilities. Environmental remediation includes removing contaminated soils likely present in the area. All facilities comply with UFC 1-200-01 for permanent construction and UFC 4-010-01 for antiterrorism/force protection requirements. Air conditioning capacity totals 240 tons. As of May 8, 2026, the project is currently under evaluation. An issuance of short-listed firms has not been released.
