Site work and paving for a civil project in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidentals necessary for the completion of pavement removal, hot-mix asphalt surface removal, combination curb and gutter removal, sidewalk removal, subbase granular material, hot-mix asphalt base course, hot-mix asphalt surface course, Portland cement concrete sidewalk, Portland cement concrete driveways, detectable warnings, combination concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer removal and installation, water main removal, abandonment, and installation, sanitary sewer removal and installation, pump station building and ounall pipe to the Des Plaines River, compensatory storage grading, relocation of an existing pedestrian path, and equipment and other incidental and miscellaneous items of work in accordance with the Plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions. Any questions or clarifications on the contract documents must be made in writing at least six (6) working days prior to the bid opening, submitted to Walter R. Dittrich (wdittrich@lincolnshireil.gov) no later than December 9, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. via email. The proposed project consists of main line and lateral storm sewers along Wiltshire Drive, Lincolnshire Drive, and Londonderry Lane that connect to a proposed pump station that discharges into the Des Plaines. The size of the proposed storm sewer ranges from 12" to 60". Key scope of work items includes removal, abandonment and installation of 12" water main via open cut and trenchless methods, relocation of a segment of the Lincolnshire Drive sanitary sewer to accommodate the proposed drainage improvements, pavement patching and full pavement reconstruction, construction of a pump station, relocation of an existing pedestrian path, and compensatory storage grading. The project involves wetland and floodway work permitted by the Lake County SMC; such work must adhere to the Lake County SMC permit requirements. The project involves in-stream work permitted by the USACE; such work will have to adhere to the USACE permit requirements. As outlined by the DCEO Grant Compliance Requirements, 28% MBE and/or WBE participation is required, and 10% of labor hours must be allocated to apprenticeship hours.
