Clark public utilities prequalification of electrical contractors clark public utilities is required by the revised code of washington (rcw) 35.92.350, to request that any person, firm or corporation desiring to bid upon any electrical construction or improvement work, answer questions contained in a standard form of questionnaire and financial statement, including a complete statement of their financial ability and experience. Electrical contractors or subcontractors who are interested in bidding on work for the utility must be prequalified. Washington state law requires that prequalified contractors annually update their prequalification questionnaire. The utility is currently in the process of establishing the prequalification list for the year 2026. For current contractors on the utilitys small works roster, prequalification of electrical contractor application forms can be downloaded by logging into your firms account on online. For new contractors, applications for inclusion on the small works roster will be accepted from qualified, licensed and bonded contractors for the types of work listed on our website. Registration and all required documents must be completed and submitted within (15) calendar days of registering or the registration request may be denied.
