Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in South Haven, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
Q & A Deadline 12/05/2025 06:00 PM EST Furnish all labor and materials and perform all work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and other Contract Documents for the construction of a rigid frame box bridge at MM 9.37 in Sumner County. The structure is designated as a triple cell 9'x9'x137'-6". All bids must be submitted digitally on Bid Express. The bid form must be fully completed and executed when submitted. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond if awarded the contract. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein, to determine which is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids will only be accepted by Contractors that are pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
