Question Submission Deadline: November 14, 2025, 3:00pm The work includes abatement and disposal of friable and non-friable asbestos containing building materials, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) containing building materials with concentrations less than 50 and equal to or greater than 50 parts per million (ppm), and lead-based paints. Additional tasks involve removal and disposal of materials located at the site as noted on the drawings and in accordance with requirements indicated on the drawings and specifications. The contractor is also required to disconnect existing utilities including, but not limited to, water, electricity, and natural gas as needed to facilitate the work, with coordination with utility companies and the City as necessary. Bidders are instructed to submit electronic responses via the City of New London's e-Procurement Portal. All inquiries regarding this bid must be submitted via the portal. Bidders must register for an account to receive notifications of addenda and are responsible for checking the site for any addenda. Proposals must be submitted on the specified forms or formats; telephone, facsimile, or e-mail proposals are not accepted.
