Renovation of a fire / police facility in Farmington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The Project Consists of Providing All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Necessary for the Replacement of a Portion of the Roof at the Farmington Police Facility Located at 319 New Britain Avenue, Unionville, CT 06085. Questions Regarding the Project Should Be Addressed, in Writing, to Mason Coudriet (Coudrietm@farmington-ct.org) and Must Be Submitted No Later Than 4:30 P.m., Nine (9) Calendar Days Before the Bid Opening Date. The Contract Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible and Qualified Bidder Whose Bid is the Lowest of Those Bidders Possessing the Skill, Ability, and Integrity Necessary to Perform the Work in Good Faith. Contractor Shall Be Responsible for Payment of Not Less Than the State Prevailing Wage Rates, as Specified in the Contract Documents. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond, Treasurer's Check or Cashier's Check Issued by a Responsible Bank, Trust or Surety Company Made Payable to the Town of Farmington in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bidder's Bid. Any Such Bid Withdrawal May Be Made Without Penalty or Prejudice. After the Bids Are Opened, All Bids Will Be Considered Firm for a Period of Ninety (90) Days and No Bid May Be Withdrawn for Any Reason During That Period Except for Such Cause as the Town of Farmington, at Its Sole Discretion, Deems Sufficient.
