The Village of Oak Brook is seeking sealed bids for the Ginger Creek Water Main and Storm Water Improvements Project.. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening of bids without the consent of the Village of Oak Brook for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The Village of Oak Brook reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. BID DESCRIPTION: Ginger Creek Water Main and Storm Water Improvements Project LOCATION OF PROJECT The project consists of water main improvements and storm sewer improvements in the Ginger Creek Subdivision in the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois. The section of the project along Oak Brook Hills Rd is a gated community. All property within the gated community is private and the Village is operating within easements and agreements with the HOA. The Village will coordinate access to the project area between the Contractor and HOA. Access to the project area will be provided through the gate at the south end of the gated street which can be accessed from 31 st Street. Any damage outside the project area or due to Contractor negligence shall be repaired by the Contractor to the satisfaction of the Engineer and the HOA at the Contractor's expense. SP-3 DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT This work included in this contract shall consist of furnishing all the materials, labor, and equipment required for the construction of approximately 12,000 feet of open cut water main of various sizes (8"-12" in diameter), approximately 2,400 ft of horizontal drilling of 12" water main, and 3,350 feet of storm sewer of various sizes (10"-48"), 500 ft of water main lining, water service connections, pavement patching, landscape restoration and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement according to the Plans, Standard Specifications and Special Provisions.
