Site work for a communication facility in Walled Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
The Walled Lake Consolidated School District’s Board of Education requests firm prime contractor bids to provide fiber at multiple schools throughout the district. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on the forms furnished by the architect and completed in full. Proposals are to be sealed in an opaque envelope and marked with the bidder’s name and the project name. Bids can be delivered to the designated address or electronically through PreconSuite. A bid bond from a Treasury-listed surety company or a cashier’s check in the amount of at least 5% of the proposal is required for proposals over $31,321. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond by a Treasury-listed surety for 100% of their bid, and the cost of the bond must be included in their proposal. Each bid must be accompanied by sworn and notarized statements disclosing familial relationships with board members or the superintendent and compliance affidavits related to the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Criminal Background Checks, and Prevailing Wage (LEO) Registration. Only bids accompanied by these statements will be accepted. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, or award the contract in whole or in part to other than the low bidder as deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
