**As of January 28, 2026, the project was awarded to R. J. GORMAN Marine, with an awarded amount of $482,026.52.** This project includes the renovation of wooden side rails at the Russell Fields City Pier in Panama City Beach, Florida. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the project. Bids must conform to Section 287-133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes. Bids shall be submitted either electronically through DemandStar or delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the appropriate bid number and project title. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany each submission. All bids must remain firm (including all labor and material prices) for 45 days after opening. Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. Bidders must submit all questions in writing at least ten days prior to the bid date. If necessary, questions will be answered as addenda and posted online. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and may award the contract to a bidder offering better value based on reliability, quality of service, or product, even if not the lowest bidder.
