Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The new roof scope of work will include new roof drains, new roof equipment curbs and electrical connection work. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below, and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Sub-Bidders Update Statement. All Bidders will be required to pay Prevailing Wages whenever applicable. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by close of business on 12/5/25 in order to be considered. The City of Springfield goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Subtrades: Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so. In general, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, materials, temporary storage, facilities, tools, cutting and patching, and other appliances necessary for the work in this section and as required to properly complete the project in accordance with these contract documents and good construction practice. Generally, the work includes: 1. Demolition and replacement, and restoration coatings of roof systems, and toilet room accessibility upgrades. 12/5/25 Questions due to the Architect by 12:00, P.M. swatchorn@rda-design.com In general, and without limiting the scope of this contract, the work consists of replacement of windows, exterior doors and curtainwall windows The new work will include removal, modifications and replacement in relationship to replacement of new windows, exterior doors and curtainwall shall include but not limited to: masonry repairs, demolition of hazardous materials, painting, window security screens, patching and repair of floor / walls / ceiling finishes, repair of CMU partitions and chases, new penetrations in walls, floors and ceilings, firestopping of all penetrations, HVAC, and electrical Each Municipality must enforce the current Affirmative Marketing Goals set on a project specific basis. 4 The veteran participation goal is 3%.
