Renovation of a residential development in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Repointing brick masonry and Other Repairs at Castle Hill Development for Plymouth Housing Authority. Project Number 239102 Estimated Cost $250,000 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 02/05/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK A The work under the Contract consists of: BASEBID BUILDING A AND COMMUNITY BUILDING 1. Powerwashing and repointing of brick masonry. Powerwash and repoint all masonry, 100% within the contract area. Remove existing deteriorated mortar joints and install all new mortar. Repoint 100% of mortar joints for brick façade at each building in scope. Mortar to match existing color and tooling profile at all elevations. See detail 1/A501. 2. Steel lintel and through-wall flashing replacement at masonry walls. Remove and replace steel lintels labeled indicated in the drawings. Remove surrounding masonry to access. Contractor to salvage as many bricks as possible for reinstallation. Install shoring as required to support adjacent masonry. Remove existing steel lintel and throughwall flashings. Minimum of three (3) courses. Install new throughwall flashing and steel lintel. Replace masonry with new bricks to match existing. Typical at all elevations in contract area. Tie flashing in back-up wall and install weep holes. See detail 2/A501. 3. Cracked and/or damaged brick replacement. Remove and replace existing brick to match existing, mortar and tooling profile to match existing. Replace brick ties as required. See detail 3/A501. 4. Window/door perimeter sealant replacement. Remove existing perimeter sealant where indicated at all windows in the brick facade and replace with new backer rod and sealant. See detail 4/A501. 5. Exterior trim replacement at Community Building, (4) windows. Remove and replace exterior trim at north elevation community building. There are four (4) windows with rotted trim that is to be replaced with PVC trim. Window is to be removed and reinstalled for replacement of trim. See detail 5/A501.
