The electrical work on the building will be carried out BY OTHERS. The successful bidder will dismantle the existing equipment; design, manufacture, supply, deliver, install, configure, and commission a motorized support system; design, manufacture, supply, deliver, install, configure, and commission the control and safety systems for the motorized hoists; manufacture, supply, deliver, and install all structures and hardware required for the installation of the motorized lifting system components, all of which must be approved by a structural engineer who is a member of the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec; starts up the equipment and ensures that all parts of the system are functioning properly; must program the systems in French; proposes a training plan and schedules training sessions with the Owner's Representative. The SUPPLIER must, within TEN (10) days of the date of dispatch of the Notice of Award, provide the PUBLIC BODY with a performance bond in an amount equivalent to FIFTY PERCENT (50%) of the Contract, in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution in favor of the PUBLIC BODY, which must comply with the provisions of the performance bond template reproduced in the Contract. Delivery schedule Following final acceptance and after a three (3) month trial period in real-life conditions, the Owner shall evaluate any changes and adjustments to the programming.
