Renovation of a golf course in Universal City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course.
**As of January 20, 2026, the project was awarded to Verde Sports Construction, Inc., with an awarded amount of $2,371,548.74** The project involves the renovation of Olympia Hills Golf Course and includes the following components: renovation of all sand bunkers, installation of new golf course irrigation sprinkler heads and two-wire control wire with controller and software, leveling and sodding of all tees, select pruning and thinning of trees and underbrush, and replacement of some areas of concrete cart path. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond from a surety company holding a permit in Texas for 5% of the amount bid. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas. Only bidders who obtain plans from the golf architect may bid. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. In case of lack of clarity in stating prices, the OWNER reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or reject the bid.
