Furnishing all labor and materials for the construction of Doctors Inlet Elementary School Fire Alarm Replacement according to the plans and specifications prepared by Haddad Engineering, Inc. Partial sets of drawings and/or specifications are not advised and neither the Engineer nor Owner will be responsible for partial information given to subcontractors by the Prime Contractors. Location- 2634 CR 220 Middleburg, FL 32068 Prime bidders who intend to submit a bid must register with the Engineer as a plan holder. Any addenda will be sent automatically to known plan holders. Other delivery methods may be arranged with the Engineer. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the site. Bidders not attending the pre-bid meeting will not be permitted to submit a bid. All Requests for Information must be emailed to the Engineer by the designated deadline. Pre-qualification requirements: Only Contractors having been pre-qualified by the School District of Clay County are eligible to submit bids for this project. Only pre-qualified Contractors should submit bids for this project (Florida Statutes). All contractual personnel permitted access on school grounds when students are present must meet Level 2 screening requirements as described in S1012.32, Florida Statutes. Entities or affiliates on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid for this project, perform work, or transact business under contract with any public entity in this context. Demolition: The project includes demolition of the existing fire alarm system and all associated equipment, wiring, and devices. All existing installations are not necessarily shown in the contract drawings. 2. New Work: The project includes a completely new fire alarm system, and sound equipment, with control panel, terminal boxes, booster power supplies, batteries, devices, wires / cables, conduits, supporting power distribution, fire alarm system testing / certifications / training, and other work required for a complete operable fire alarm system.
