Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Paris, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
This project involves bridge replacement and approach roadwork. The project is located at Rison Street Bridge over Jones Band Creek at L.M. 0.52, City of Paris, Henry County. The work to be done consists of, but is not limited to, traffic control, erosion prevention and sediment control, bridge demolition and the construction of a new bridge, approach road work, grading, drainage, paving, and pavement marking. A Prime Contractor must prequalify with the Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 54-5-117 of the Tennessee Code Annotated and Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680-5-3 prequalification of contractors before biddable proposals will be furnished. Any bid submitted from a bidder not on TDOT's official Prequalified Contractors list will not be opened.
