Renovation of an educational facility in Gatineau, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Energy efficiency project: Replacement of the cooling system and modernization of the air conditioning units at École polyvalente de l’Érablière. TIMELINE: Contract for consulting mechanical and electrical engineering services has been awarded following contract agreement # 2526-191G11-MÉC-ÉLEC. Reference # 20106846. The consultants will assess opportunities for improving energy efficiency and reducing GHG emissions. The objective is not only to maximize the environmental benefits but also to define a coherent roadmap to pursue long-term decarbonization efforts, particularly with regard to compliance with PEV2030, which will be required when the boiler room equipment needs to be replaced. The study completion is scheduled for mid-March, 2026. Budget, design, tender and construction schedules are undetermined. Further update in spring, 2026.
