As of February 03, 2026 the project was awarded to Pyramid Sports & Entertainment Group, Inc but the awarded amount is not available. The purpose is to identify qualified and experienced organizations interested in operating a comprehensive, community-oriented Recreational Youth Baseball Program at the Silver Lakes Baseball Complex. Cone of Silence There May Be a Cone of Silence in Place for This Solicitation. Please Carefully Review the Solicitation Documents to Ensure Compliance With Any Rules Regarding a Cone of Silence. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids/proposals, to Waive Any Informality in a Bid/proposal and/or in the Bidding/selection Process, and to Make Awards, if Awarded, to the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bidder/offeror as Deemed in the Best Interest of the City. SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and administrative support necessary to successfully operate the youth baseball program. Services shall include, but are not limited to: 1. Program Operations and League Management: Design and implement ageappropriate divisions and rules; develop practice and game schedules; manage rosters and standings. 2. Registration and Customer Service: Administer registration processes, handle participant communications, and maintain accurate participant databases. 3. Coaching, Staffing, and Umpire Coordination: Recruit, train, and supervise coaches and umpires; conduct background checks; provide training and oversight. 4. Equipment and Uniform Management: Procure and maintain uniforms, baseballs, bats, helmets, and other required equipment. 5. Marketing and Community Engagement: Promote the program through digital, print, and social media; partner with schools and community sponsors. 6. Safety and Compliance: Conduct background checks; adhere to concussion management and heat-safety protocols; maintain first aid readiness. 7. Special Events and Recognition: Coordinate Opening Day and End-of-Season celebrations; plan tournaments or exhibition events upon City approval. 8. Optional Services: Manage concessions and coordinate volunteers for community involvement.. PROGRAM SITE OVERVIEW The program will utilize three (3) baseball fields at the Silver Lakes Baseball Complex located at 17450 SW 23rd Street, Miramar, FL 33029 as follows: o Field 1: 60 ft bases - Ages 6-10 o Field 2: 70 ft bases - Ages 11-12 o Field 3: 90 ft bases - Ages 13+ This configuration supports a developmental model designed to advance youth players by skill level and age progression. D. PROGRAM SCHEDULE 1. Weekday Practices: Monday - Thursday between 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM 2. Game Days: Saturday mornings between 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM 3. Season Length: Eight (8) to ten (10) weeks per season 4. Program Seasons: Spring and Fall (encouraged annually) 5.
