Sacramento Area Sewer District invites sealed proposals for Odor Control for S016 Sewer Pump Station and Force Main Contract (RFP #8520). The scope includes providing odor control solutions for the S016 sewage pump station and force main, where microbial chemicals (Microbe-Lift IND & DGTT) are currently injected into an upstream manhole to treat odor through the incoming flows at S016. The area’s primary odor complaints originate from the pump station wet well and two combination air relief valve (CARV) manholes along the S016 force main. The current chemical injection setup has resolved the odor issues. Compliance with Department of Industrial Relations, including contractor registration and compliance monitoring, is required when applicable. Proposals must be delivered to the Sacramento Area Sewer District office by the specified deadline for public opening.
