Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility.
Construction of a new transit centre to be located at the intersection of Windermere Drive and Ambleside Drive within the Windermere District Park. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. A Request for Expressions of Interest for Public Partnerships was issued by the owner in early 2026. The purpose was to solicit market interest in partnering with the City in the partial or full capacity of providing the necessary goods and services to plan, design, deliver, operate and/or maintain the identified amenity, potentially through a larger development that integrates other infrastructure or amenities. No definitive decisions have been made on the project delivery method or timelines at this point. This project will be included in the owner's capital plans for 2027 - 2030. Further update may be available in 2027.
