Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Elmer, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
**As of January 19th, 2026, the project is canceled. Project is no longer needed.** The work to be performed under this contract shall include construction of a new pavilion and related site work. Generally, the contract will include the installation of a new pavilion with concrete pad. Protection of the existing park, restoration of disturbed areas and all other associated work and items as indicated in the bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee (certified check, cashier's check, or surety bid bond) in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidder's maximum bid price, not to exceed $20,000. A Performance Bond equal to 100% of the bid is required before award. Proposals may be withdrawn up to the opening of bids, but the proposals of the three lowest bidders may not be withdrawn for sixty days following the bid opening. Bidders are required to comply with New Jersey Public Law 1975, Chapter 127 regarding non-discrimination in employment and the State of New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, P.L. 1963, c. 150, including all amendments.
